Taking place in Malta during the same week as Pride Week celebrations, this Conference will shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by rainbow families across Europe – particularly in safeguarding their privacy and securing equality in family life. The event will bring together Parliamentarians and key stakeholders to foster a collaborative dialogue aimed at generating solutions to ensure that all families, regardless of their composition, enjoy equal rights and protection under both national and European legal frameworks.
Organised in cooperation with the Parliamentary Platform for LGBTI Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the Conference will be preceded by a meeting of the Assembly’s Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination.
